What Are Gemstones? & Uses Of Gemstones?
One of the most common remedies that we come across in Vedic Astrology is Gemstones. They are often recommended by experienced astrologers to reduce the bad effects of planets in your life or to increase the good effects of the benefic planets as per your natal chart. Vedic Astrologers believe that the powers of the gemstones are similar to the planet associated and can be used to achieve success and maintain good health.
Many a times we have heard a lot of taboos related to gemstones like certain gemstones can give adverse effects or ruin your life etc. But if we wear them under the consultation of a genuine and experienced astrologer nothing wrong would happen.
Which gemstone should be worn totally depends on the person’s horoscope as every planet exhibits different forces and effects depending upon the horoscope of the person. One should always consult a genuine astrologer who can point out the right gemstone and the rituals to be done while wearing them.
Till the time a gemstone is Abhimantrit with Mantras they are just a piece of ornament which will have no effects. So when we decide to wear one we should do so with proper Mantras and rituals as suggested.
Also a point to be noted here is when we wear a gemstone for a particular event then after the event takes places we should remove it as the planet it is associated with may also have other unwanted effects as per the horoscope. Certain gemstones can be worn lifelong which should be suggested by an experienced astrologer.
