What Is Jyotish? & Its Importance
Jyotish is made of two words “Jyoti” and “Ish”. Jyoti means light and Ish means God hence Jyotish means the light of God.
It takes you to the right path of life towards God. It teaches us that there is a power above that is managing all our lives and that whatever happens in life happens for a reason and for our betterment.
We should trust the almighty at all times be it good or bad. Never lose trust in that supreme soul to which we all belong.
In astronomical aspects, Jyotish helps us understand the combinations and permutations of the planets which make events happen in our life.
It is only through Astrology / Jyotish that we can predict the possibilities in the future. No other subject can comment on this.
Though it needs immense deep studies and experience to be able to understand this Shastra once you do you can successfully predict what to expect in life.
Jyotish has a lot of fields like numerology, palmistry, hora Shastra, and a lot more.
One can choose according to the interest which field to study or practice but all of them will lead to the same results. Astrology in turn has a lot of systems like KP astrology, Nadi astrology, Jaimini Astrology, etc.
Practitioners have their own experiences with all and no one can comment which is better.
But one thing is common in all that it is the only way to try and understand our planets and their connection with the events in our life.
I would suggest to everyone that whenever in life you are confused about a certain thing try meeting an experienced astrologer as he/she can give you a fair idea of what to expect or do for a better future.
